Come join us for a
Murder Mystery! On Friday night you will check in. Friday evening the chief
investigator will arrive to give details and initial evidence for the murder.
Saturday morning, and Saturday evening we will gather together for additional rounds of
clues and further revelations. In addition there will be clues placed around town
for discovery on Saturday afternoon.
Sunday morning
after breakfast you can record your solution to the mystery just before we reveal the
murderer.
We have two
mysteries, both based on the same characters and involving a fictional history of our
house. The first mystery, Houser's Final Brew, is set in 1923. The sequel, Jimmy
Fixes a Flat, is set in 1931. Both have had excellent reviews and are a lot of fun.
SPECIAL!
For 2006 we are
not charging anything for our mystery (except for the usual room rate for your 2 night
stay) - normally the cost is an additional $25 per couple. Out of fairness to the
other participants, we ask that our guests not commit to a mystery weekend unless they are
reasonably certain they can attend.
Please call or email us to sign up to participate in a
mystery weekend. We are currently compiling a list of guests who are interested, and
will contact people on the list until we have 4 couples to fill a mystery. We hope
to have our first murder of 2006 the last weekend in January. |
